Before the game, the league paid tribute to Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who was killed with eight other individuals, including his daughter Gianna, in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26, 2020 near LA.

The Grammy Award-winning singer and Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson took the mic in an emotional tribute.
