Triple-threat entertainer Keith D. Robinson is returning to where it all began—music.
The acclaimed actor and R&B heartthrob has released his latest single, “Different Languages,” the third offering from his forthcoming album Love Episodic II, set to arrive this summer. Dropping just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend, the romantic track is now globally available across all streaming platforms.
Inspired by the emotional complexities of real love, “Different Languages” dives deeper than surface-level affection. The record speaks to the truth that connection is not defined by perfect moments—but by how two people navigate the imperfect ones.
“This song is an ode to the burning desire between lovers who yearn to be understood and heard by one another far beyond words, but more by their intention and vibration,” Robinson shares.
Written by Robinson and produced by Niphkey, the single delivers smooth, heartfelt vocals layered over lush production, reminding listeners why Robinson’s voice has long been a staple in modern R&B storytelling.
From Screen to Studio—And Back Again
While many know Robinson for his powerful performances on screen, music has always been at the core of his artistry. The Kentucky/Georgia native first pursued music before Hollywood came calling. Over the years, he has built an impressive acting résumé with more than 70 television and film credits, including his critically acclaimed role as C.C. White in the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls. His solo performance of “Patience” in the film—performed live at the Oscars—earned widespread acclaim and remains a career-defining moment.
Robinson has also appeared in beloved projects such as This Christmas, Four Seasons, Fat Albert, and the hit series Saints and Sinners. Most recently, he has expanded his creative reach through his Scenes and Songs production imprint, directing and starring in The Greener Grass Experiment, which won at the Essence Film Festival.

Robinson joins the cast of the #1 soap opera Beyond The Gates, portraying Dr. Ted Richardson in the high-profile series set in an affluent Maryland community filled with secrets and legacy drama.
A New Chapter: Love Episodic II
With Love Episodic II on the horizon, Robinson continues to blend vulnerability, romance, and lived experience into music that resonates deeply with fans. His ability to transition seamlessly between acting and recording reinforces his status as a true multi-hyphenate.
“For every scene, there’s a rhythm. And for every rhythm, there’s a scene,” Robinson says—a mantra that perfectly captures his artistic journey.
As “Different Languages” sets the tone for the season of love, Keith D. Robinson proves once again that whether on screen or on stage, his storytelling always finds its mark.
