It’s so important to make sure our skin is oil-free and as smooth and rich as we can get it!

Here are 5 all-natural facial cleanser recipes perfect for any day: 


HONEY MASK (for smoother skin)
You Will Need:Pure Honey ,Washcloth
Instructions:Apply pure honey to dry skin.Leave on for 15 minutes.Rinse off with warm water.No need for post-facial moisturizer, the honey will leave your skin hydrated and soft as a baby’s bottom.


AVOCADO MASK (for smoother, richer skin)
You Will Need:
Fresh Avocado,Lemon Juice, Washcloth Mixing Bowl
Instructions:
Mash up your avocado into a small bowl.Add a squeeze of lemon juice (as a natural astringent) and mix it together.Slather on skin and soak in the mixture for 15 minutes.Remove with warm water and a washcloth.

PINEAPPLE MASK (for extra exfoliation)You can use the inside of the rind of fresh cut pineapple, or small pieces of the juicy fruit
You Will Need:Fresh pineapple or store-bought pineapple slicesWashclothMoisturizer
Instructions:Apply crushed rind or minced fruit to dry skin, avoiding the eyes.Leave on for 10 minutes.Rinse with warm water.Apply favorite moisturizer

RAW EGG YOLK MASK (great for acne)
You Will Need:3 Large Brown Eggs Mixing Bowl Washcloth
Instructions Whip 3 egg yolk in a small bowl (we prefer to use brown eggs)Apply to towel cleansed face, avoiding the eyes, and allow to dry. Soak in dried yolk for 5-7 minutes then remove with warm water and a washcloth.

CUCUMBER MASK (perfect for reducing redness, inflammation and puffiness)
You Will Need:Fresh cucumber. Food processor
Instructions for Facial:Pulse cucumber in blender and apply to face
Leave on for 5 minutes.Rinse with warm water.
Instructions for the Eyes Only:Cut the cucumber into slices
Place over your eyes while in the bathtub or apply while giving yourself another one of these natural food facials.

    Dreyfuss loves the local food and usually eats out at least three times a week, something she simply couldn’t have afforded to do when she was based in San Diego, California, where she lived and worked as a teacher previously.

    When she began teaching after working in corporate finance for years, Dreyfuss thought she’d end up with a retirement income that would provide her with a comfortable lifestyle.

    But as the years went by and the cost of living increased, she realized that this was unlikely to be the case.

    Dreyfuss considered moving within the United States, and recalls driving up to Seattle and “stopping at a bunch of places,” but says she couldn’t find anywhere affordable enough to tempt her away.

    She’d always dreamed of traveling around Europe extensively, but Dreyfuss knew that this would likely never happen if she stayed where she was. So what better way to explore the continent than actually moving there?

    After doing some research into European countries, Dreyfuss found that the only visa that she qualified for at the time was the Portugal D7 visa, which allows non-EU nationals with a stable passive income to reside in the country.

    “I’d never been to Portugal. So I had no way of doing a scouting trip or anything,” she says. “I thought, ‘I’m going to go over there. And If I don’t like Portugal, then I’ll move to Spain or France.’”

    While she put her plans on the back burner for a while, Dreyfuss says that the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 ultimately prompted her to finally leave the US permanently.

    “I was really ready to get away from the political situation in the United States,” she admits.
