A Jurassic Rebirth, Climate Consciousness, and Hollywood’s Green Renaissance: Inside the 2025 Hollywood Climate Summit

Lights, camera, climate action.

The Hollywood Climate Summit returns for its sixth groundbreaking year—bigger, bolder, and more action-packed than ever before. From June 2–4, the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills becomes the epicenter of eco-conscious creativity as the 2025 Summit reveals its final slate of programming and talent. This year’s marquee moment? A riveting behind-the-scenes conversation about Jurassic World Rebirth—a franchise relaunch that isn’t just roaring with dinosaurs but surging with climate impact.

Hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and powered by NBCUniversal, the event promises a blockbuster blend of Hollywood glitz and climate grit.

Welcome to the Jungle: Jurassic World Rebirth Takes Center Stage

On June 3, attendees will be transported to a world where science meets spectacle. “A New Era Begins: Behind the Making of Jurassic World Rebirth” features producer Patrick Crowley, rising stars Audrina Miranda and Luna Blaise, and none other than Dr. Nathan Smith, a paleontologist and director of the Dinosaur Institute at the LA Natural History Museum.

Together, they’ll explore how Rebirth merges Hollywood storytelling with real-world environmental advocacy. Beyond resurrecting prehistoric creatures, the film supports oceanic cleanups—specifically ghost net removal initiatives—and aims to spark scientific curiosity in the next generation.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Jurassic Park original David Koepp, the new installment hits theaters July 2 and stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. It’s not just a film—it’s a fossilized future reimagined.
