BET is once again shining a spotlight on Black LGBTQ+ excellence with the highly anticipated return of the Black + Iconic Soirée. Set to take place on May 23, 2026, at the iconic MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, the annual celebration promises a night centered on culture, empowerment, visibility, and community impact.
This year’s soirée will be hosted by Emmy-nominated actress, producer, and advocate Laverne Cox, whose groundbreaking work continues to create space for authentic representation and meaningful dialogue within entertainment and beyond.
