The world of Hip-Hop has taken another hit. Biz Markie known as the “Clown Prince of Hip-Hop” has died on today. He was 57 years old.

Many people know Biz Markie as a goofy and humorous hip hop rapper and for his hit “Just a Friend.”

With his DJ he soon became known as much for rocking the party as rocking the mic.
Biz Markie was also known for acting, appearing in several films and TV shows, including “Men in Black II,” as a narrator on the adult puppet show “Crank Yankers,” and on the children’s series “Yo Gabba Gabba!” with his “Biz’s Beat of the Day.”

What we do know is that Biz had been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in his late 40s. We seen the hip hop legend loose 140 lbs in the years that followed.
