Gospel Music Takes Center Stage as Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency Brings Iconic Artists to the Las Vegas Strip
Gospel music is preparing for a landmark moment in Las Vegas as IKON Presents and Dr. Holly Carter, President and CEO of Relévé Entertainment, officially announce Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency, an ambitious new concert series bringing some of gospel music’s biggest names to the Las Vegas Strip.
Launching October 8 and 9, 2026, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the residency opens with three of the genre’s most celebrated artists sharing one stage: The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon.
Billed as the first Gospel music residency on the Las Vegas Strip in this music era, the production represents a significant step in expanding gospel music’s presence within one of the world’s premier entertainment destinations.
The October performances mark only the beginning. Organizers describe Legends of Gospel as an ongoing multi-date residency that will continue to feature many of gospel music’s most influential voices, with additional artists and performance dates expected to be announced in the coming months.
The residency combines IKON Presents’ live entertainment expertise with the creative vision of Dr. Holly Carter, whose work has helped shape the careers of many of gospel music’s biggest stars.
“For years, I have envisioned bringing Gospel to Las Vegas on this scale,” said Dr. Holly Carter. “To now unite legendary artists in a groundbreaking residency is more than a milestone. It’s a moment. And I thank God for it.”
IKON Presents spokesperson Neal Carter called the residency an opportunity to give gospel music a larger presence on the Strip.
“Partnering with Dr. Holly Carter on this residency was essential,” he said. “Her relationships and her vision for Gospel music made this the right team to bring this genre to the Strip in a meaningful way.”
Producer Keesha Brickhouse, Head of Production for Relévé Entertainment, added that helping produce a gospel residency of this scale is both an honor and a cultural milestone.
More than a concert series, Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency celebrates the lasting influence of gospel music while creating a new destination experience for audiences traveling to Las Vegas. By bringing together legendary artists in one venue, the residency aims to honor the genre’s rich legacy while introducing it to new generations of music lovers.
