Sony Pictures’ AFFIRM Films, Provident Films, and the Kendrick Brothers have released the highly anticipated trailer for their upcoming film, “Meet the Godly Men of THE FORGE.” Set for an exclusive nationwide theatrical release on August 23rd, THE FORGE is an inspirational drama exploring the power of mentorship. This film is set in the same cinematic universe as WAR ROOM, the 2015 hit that dominated the North American box office.

Aspen Kennedy, renowned for his roles in BET’s Kingdom Business and Tyler Perry’s Ruthless, takes on the role of Isaiah Wright, a young man facing the challenges of adulthood. A year out of high school with no clear direction for his future, Isaiah is encouraged by his single mother and a successful businessman to forge a better path. Guided by his mother’s prayers and the biblical mentorship of his new advisor, Isaiah learns that God’s plan for him is greater than he ever imagined.
