Gospel icon Yolanda Adams is back in the spotlight with her long-awaited new album, SUNNY DAYS, marking her first solo release in over a decade. The platinum-selling artist and four-time GRAMMY winner’s latest project is a 15-track celebration of faith, love, and resilience. Featuring collaborations with renowned talents like Terry Hunter, Sir The Baptist, and Donald Lawrence, SUNNY DAYS is available now on all streaming platforms and wherever music is sold.

This major comeback arrives as Adams co-headlines the star-studded Reunion Tour, sharing the stage with gospel legends Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, and Kierra Sheard-Kelly. The 33-city tour is already making waves across the U.S., with Adams set to perform tonight in Cincinnati, Ohio, as the tour continues its run through the Midwest before moving on to major cities like Chicago, Brooklyn, and Atlanta.

The album’s lead single, “Church Doors,” is a powerful anthem that showcases Yolanda Adams’ signature vocal brilliance. Her first single in over ten years, the song is a testament to her enduring place in both gospel and mainstream music. “The world has been through so much,” Adams shared with Billboard about the track’s theme. “So to have some good news about what God has done is what we need right now.” The single comes with two dynamic remixes, produced by three-time GRAMMY-nominated DJ Terry Hunter, and featuring guest appearances from Sir The Baptist, Donald Lawrence, and poet J. Ivy. Adams’ recent performance of “Church Doors” on The Tamron Hall Show left fans speechless, flooding social media with praise for her vocal excellence.

In an interview with News 8 Indiana, Adams discussed her unwavering commitment to gospel music, despite opportunities to explore other genres. “I’ve had so many producers say, ‘Hey, why don’t you come and do this,’ but gospel is the only genre where you can sing from the age of 13 to 100,” she said. “If I’m using my gift in the right way, then God will always provide.”

Yolanda Adams’ influence reaches far beyond gospel music. Since her debut in 1986, she’s performed at The White House, stolen the show at the BET Awards with a heartfelt tribute to Anita Baker, and delivered an unforgettable rendition of “America the Beautiful” at the 2019 Super Bowl. Her career is filled with accolades, from GRAMMYs to NAACP Image Awards, as she continues to be a force within the gospel world and beyond.
