Meagan Good is back—and this time, she’s bringing heat, heartbreak, and high-stakes suspense to Lifetime’s sizzling summer slate. The Think Like a Man and Harlem star headlines and executive produces the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie, I’ll Never Let You Go, premiering Saturday, August 16 at 8/7c.
Inspired by real-life events, the film follows Emily Westover (Good), a polished and successful art gallery director battling empty nest syndrome after her only daughter, Sophia (Hana Destiny Huggins, The Flash), heads off to college. With her marriage to Tom (Thomas Cadrot, Merry Liddle Christmas) growing distant, Emily seeks comfort and connection—only to be swept into a fiery and dangerous affair with a captivating Italian artist, Carlo (Antonio Cupo, Blood and Treasure).
But passion quickly turns to obsession. When Emily tries to cut things off, Carlo refuses to let go—launching a terrifying campaign to destroy everything she holds dear. As secrets unravel and her picture-perfect life implodes, Emily is forced to fight for her sanity, her marriage, and her safety.
Directed by Troy Scott and written by Alex Wright, the film is produced by Bruce Harvey for CMW Autumn Productions in association with Studio TF1 America, with executive producers Joey Plager and Meagan Good.
