OPEN HAUS Turns One, Bringing Artists, Media and Gospel Culture Together During Stellar Awards Weekend

Stellar Awards Weekend may have brought gospel music’s biggest names to Charlotte, but beyond the awards stage, another kind of room was creating its own energy.
OPEN HAUS: Artist Press Day celebrated its one-year anniversary on Friday, August 14, 2026, bringing artists, creatives, publicists and media professionals together for an intimate day of conversation, connection and content during the 41st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards weekend.
Presented by The Cre8tive Haus, Inc. and Haus Records, OPEN HAUS transformed the traditional press-day experience into a multi-room media activation designed to give artists and outlets something increasingly valuable during a packed awards weekend: time to actually connect.
More Than a Traditional Press Line
Instead of one long red carpet where conversations can be over almost as quickly as they begin, OPEN HAUS created individual spaces throughout the venue where participating media outlets could establish their own interview stations.
Artists rotated from room to room throughout the day, sitting down with outlets for conversations, interviews and original content.
The result was part press junket, part networking experience and part creative gathering.
From independent platforms and digital creators to established media outlets and major news organizations, the event brought different corners of the media landscape under one roof. The diversity of participating voices gave artists an opportunity to tell their stories across multiple platforms while allowing media professionals to build relationships beyond the typical quick exchange.

Celebrating One Year of The Haus
The 2026 gathering marked an important milestone for OPEN HAUS as the experience celebrated its first anniversary.
After launching during the previous Stellar Awards Weekend in Nashville, the concept returned in Charlotte with an expanded presence and a growing community surrounding it.

Throughout the day, artists moved between interview spaces as cameras rolled, microphones were passed and conversations unfolded across the Haus. The environment offered emerging and established talent alike an opportunity to discuss new music, ministry, upcoming projects, career milestones and the stories behind their journeys.
And with the Stellar Awards bringing the gospel industry together in Charlotte, OPEN HAUS became another place where the culture could meet, exchange ideas and build relationships.

SNUBB3D Was in the Haus — And Room Three Had a Time
SNUBB3D Magazine was among the participating media outlets, setting up its own interview experience inside Room Three.
Throughout the day, some of gospel and entertainment’s familiar faces stopped by to sit down with SNUBB3D, and let’s just say — the magic happened.
There were laughs, unexpected moments, spontaneous conversations and plenty of personality. What started as an interview quickly became the kind of exchange that reminds us why authentic conversations matter. The joy was in the room, and the cameras caught it.

So get ready, because these interviews are going to have you laughing from ear to ear.
Your favorites stopped by Room Three, and they did not disappoint. Between the stories, jokes, surprises and candid moments, SNUBB3D’s OPEN HAUS conversations captured another side of the artists audiences know and love.
For SNUBB3D, that was exactly what made OPEN HAUS special. Artists weren’t simply walking up to a microphone, answering a few questions and moving on. The format created space for personalities to shine, genuine connections to happen and memorable moments to unfold naturally.
The conversations are coming, and Room Three definitely had a time.
Building Community Behind the Cameras
While interviews were at the center of the experience, OPEN HAUS also created something equally important behind the scenes: community.
Media professionals who often see one another working from opposite sides of carpets had an opportunity to network. Artists and their teams could make new media connections. Independent creators shared space with larger platforms and major news outlets. Conversations continued during lunch, between interviews and throughout the different rooms.
It became a reminder that some of the most important moments of an awards weekend don’t necessarily happen when the trophies are being handed out.
They happen in the rooms where relationships are formed.
They happen when an emerging artist meets an outlet willing to listen.
They happen when independent media gets access to stories that deserve a larger audience.
And they happen when the people helping move the culture forward are intentionally placed in the same space.
Happy Birthday, OPEN HAUS
The 41st Stellar Awards Weekend transformed Charlotte into a destination for gospel music, bringing artists, executives, media, fans and industry professionals to the Queen City. OPEN HAUS added another layer to that experience.
By creating a dedicated environment centered around storytelling, access and authentic connection, The Cre8tive Haus and Haus Records provided participating artists with more than exposure and participating media with more than content. They created a space where relationships could begin and continue long after Stellar Awards Weekend ended.
As OPEN HAUS celebrates its first year, SNUBB3D Magazine extends its congratulations and wishes a very Happy Birthday to OPEN HAUS and The Cre8tive Haus.
Thank you for opening the doors, creating the space and allowing media and artists to come together in a way that felt personal, professional and full of joy.
The cameras rolled. The conversations flowed. Your favorites came through. Room Three shook a little. And most importantly, the magic happened.
Happy Birthday, OPEN HAUS. Until next time, we’ll see you at The Haus.
