Q Parker Sets the Mood With New Single “STARE” Ahead of Evolution of Romance, Volume Two

Q Parker is keeping grown R&B, intentional love and real romance at the center of the conversation.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and founding member of 112 has released his new single, “STARE,” officially kicking off the next chapter of his Evolution of Romance series. The seductive new track arrives alongside an official lyric video and serves as the first release from Evolution of Romance, Volume Two, expected this fall.

One Look Can Say Everything

With “STARE,” Q Parker taps into that undeniable moment when attraction doesn’t need an introduction — sometimes, the eyes say enough.

“There is nothing like when two individuals make eye contact and read each others soul through their stare,” Q shares.

The record continues Parker’s exploration of attraction, intimacy, vulnerability and connection, wrapped in the smooth vocals that have helped define his career. Rather than chasing trends, “STARE” stays rooted in the mature R&B lane Parker has continued to champion as the self-proclaimed “Romance Dealer.”

The single follows Evolution of Romance, Volume One, expanding a musical story centered on what love and relationships look like today. With Volume Two, Parker plans to push that conversation even further through music focused on intentional connection, chemistry and romance.

The Evolution Continues This Fall

“STARE” is only the beginning of what is shaping up to be a busy season for Q Parker.

Along with the arrival of Evolution of Romance, Volume Two, Parker is preparing to bring his music directly to audiences with a series of intimate City Winery performances. The run begins October 10 in Chicago before heading to Philadelphia on October 24 and St. Louis on October 30, with New York and Atlanta dates expected to be announced.

Between those performances, Parker will also join the lineup for the One Voyage Cruise, sailing in late October and supporting the work of UNCF.

“I’m excited to be part of the incredible lineup aboard the One Voyage Cruise. It will be an unforgettable week of live music, great vibes and amazing experiences, all while supporting the life changing work of UNCF,” Parker says.

A Legacy That Goes Beyond the Music

For longtime R&B fans, Q Parker needs little introduction. As a founding member of Grammy-winning group 112, Parker helped create a catalog that became part of the soundtrack of an era. His career has since expanded into solo music, songwriting, mentorship, wellness and community leadership.

His work outside the studio includes the Q Parker Legacy Foundation, its Summer Music Camp and Annual Senior Citizens Gala, along with initiatives focused on mentorship, cultural unity and community impact.
