Faith, music, and community impact will come together in a powerful way this August as Hope For Harvest presents its highly anticipated Night of Hope Charity Brunch in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 14, 2026.
Designed as an inspiring gathering of influential faith leaders, award-winning gospel artists, and community changemakers, the event will celebrate the power of hope while raising critical support for underserved youth throughout the Carolinas.
The evening’s lineup includes some of gospel music’s most recognizable voices, including Kirk Franklin, Jonathan McReynolds, Koryn Hawthorne, Darrel Walls, Kelontae Gavin, Zacardi Cortez, Vashawn Mitchell, and Keyla Richardson, along with additional special guests expected to be announced.
More than a celebration, the Night of Hope Charity Brunch serves a greater purpose. Proceeds from the event will benefit Hope For Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-changing opportunities, educational resources, mentorship, and community support for young people across the region.
The organization carries a legacy that spans more than four decades. Its foundation traces back to Community Outreach Christian Ministries and The Harvest Kitchen, established by the late Pastor Barbara Brewton, whose commitment to serving others helped provide meals for more than 100,000 families throughout Charlotte.
Inspired by her mother’s extraordinary legacy of compassion and service, Catherine Brewton founded the Barbara Brewton Hope For Harvest Youth Center in 2016. Since then, the organization has expanded its mission by creating a safe environment where underserved youth can learn, grow, and thrive through free after-school programming, summer enrichment experiences, performing arts, mentorship, life skills development, clothing assistance, and community outreach initiatives.
Today, Hope For Harvest continues to invest in the next generation by providing resources that encourage creativity, confidence, leadership, and hope while strengthening families across the Carolinas.
As community leaders, artists, and supporters gather in Charlotte, the Night of Hope Charity Brunch promises to be more than an event—it will be a celebration of legacy, generosity, faith, and the collective commitment to building brighter futures for young people.
