Don’t Be a Mess & Stress! Grab a Smoothie!

Did you know that certain foods can help with reducing your stress.  When your mind is cluttered, you are not at your peak. Take some time out for you. Whether it is relaxing in the bed or taking a nice trip somewhere peaceful, but whatever you do keep positive vibrations around you.

Here are some great food ideas to help with stress. 

Keep Calm Smoothie is one of my favorites to drink.

The ingredients are as follow.

Ingredients

3 dl= 1c Water

2 dl= 0,8c Berries

5-10 pcs Cashew nuts

5 pcs Walnuts

2 tablespoon Oatmeal

1 banana OR 1 avocado

Instructions

1.       Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.

Another great healthy smoothie is the 

Stress Relieving Green Smoothie

This Stress Relieving Green Smoothie is made with super-foods that may naturally reduce stress and anxiety. Vegetarian | Vegan Friendly | Gluten Free

Ingredients

2 cups fresh spinach packed

1/2 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt

1/2 medium avocado peeled and pitted

1 frozen medium banana

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

Place all ingredients into your blender. Blend on high speed for about 45 seconds or until smooth and creamy.

Pour into two serving glasses.

Notes

If you’d rather your smoothie be a bit sweeter, add some honey or pure maple syrup to taste.

There are plenty of ways of bringing your stress down besides these smoothies. Remember take time for you. Keep yourself healthy.
