Jekalyn Carr Unveils Collaborative Project: The Inspiration Project, Showcasing Emerging Gospel Talent
GRAMMY®-nominated and Stellar and GMA DOVE Award-winning artist Jekalyn Carr has expanded her already impressive portfolio with the release of her latest project, Jekalyn Carr Presents…The Inspiration Project. This brand-new collaboration not only highlights her undeniable talent as a singer and songwriter but also showcases her skills as an A&R and executive producer, further solidifying her position as a dynamic force in the gospel music industry. The project is now available on all major streaming platforms and wherever music is sold.
The Inspiration Project serves as a powerful introduction to a fresh wave of gospel artists, with Carr using her platform to shine a light on talent she has encountered during her years in ministry. The six-song collection features emerging voices such as Emoni Wilkins, Jericho Worship, Timothy Rogers, Ashley Charisse Mackey, JD Fomby, and includes a special unplugged version of Carr’s own single, “You Carried Me.” Each track on the project was co-written and produced by Jekalyn Carr and her father, Allen Carr, combining their visionary touch to create a diverse and soul-stirring body of work.

She recently earned two prestigious nominations at the 55th GMA Dove Awards for Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for her hit “I Believe God” and Traditional Gospel Album of the Year for her self-titled album, Jekalyn. The GMA Dove Awards will take place on October 1, 2024, at the Allen Arena in Nashville, TN, and will air on TBN on October 4, 2024, at 8 pm and 10 pm ET.
Carr’s influence also extends to the airwaves, where she hosts her popular midday radio show, The Jekalyn Carr Family Affair Show, on Atlanta’s Praise 102.5, connecting with fans on a daily basis.
