In this first season of “Hello Hunnay” Jeannie dives into her past trauma with her mom and her troubled teen years. This was a tear jerker, because she confronted her mom about not believing her when she tried to tell her that she was being molested by a family friend. Mama Mai begins to tell her that she apologizes for not believing her and how she truly is proud of her and just didn’t know how to deal with it. She also explained about her own childhood trauma which was shocking.
